What is your favorite part of working in the industry?

Being able to make people feel confident and happy with their hair. I love seeing the smile on their face when they look in the mirror after a service. I also really value the connections I build with clients. A lot of people open up and vent during their appointments, and it means a lot to me that I can be there to listen and support them.

What is the best memory you have of working at S2K so far?

Salon Christmas party and doing educational classes with the girls!!

What is one thing you would tell a newcomer to the industry?

Take in as much education as you can and learn from all kinds of stylists because everyone has something valuable to teach. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Nobody gets everything right on the first try, and that is okay. Just keep going, stay open to learning, and don't give up. Growth will come with time and experience.
